Alexander-Braverman Project Overview
The objective was to transform a comprehensive personal manuscript into a high-end, interactive "wedding newspaper" for guests. This wasn’t just a program, but a keepsake designed to serve as a storyteller, a logistical guide, and an entertainment piece for the duration of the wedding weekend.
The Challenge
The project required organizing a massive amount of varied content—including long-form storytelling, instructional recipes, and a functional crossword puzzle—into a "classic newspaper" aesthetic without sacrificing legibility or modern elegance.

Design Strategy & Execution
To achieve a vintage broadsheet aesthetic, I applied a classic multi-column grid and traditional serif typography throughout the layout. I organized a wide variety of content—including a custom crossword puzzle and detailed family histories—into a cohesive and legible editorial flow. For the final production, I prepared all image assets and technical layouts for print to ensure a high-quality, tactile finish that mirrored the look and feel of a heritage newspaper. The resulting piece provided guests with a sophisticated, interactive keepsake that successfully balanced dense storytelling with practical utility.
