Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
This project focused on the transformation of production photography into a series of simplified, minimalist character avatars representing the cast of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. By analyzing the specific silhouettes and textures of the theatrical costumes, I translated complex, real-world garments into clean graphic forms. My process involved a detailed study of the period-accurate wigs and wardrobe, allowing me to distill intricate plaid patterns and printed fabrics into essential visual elements.

Design Strategy & Execution
I prioritized capturing the distinct physical identity of each character by focusing on the specific way the hair shaped itself and the unique drape of the mid-century attire. The resulting suite of illustrations maintains a high level of brand recognition while providing a modern, scalable aesthetic suitable for digital platforms and promotional collateral. By balancing technical precision with artistic simplification, I created a cohesive set of assets that honors the original production design through a refined, contemporary lens.

Jersey Boys
This project centered on the creation of period-accurate, kitsch-inspired graphics for custom letterman jackets featured in a specific theatrical sequence. The objective was to develop a cohesive visual identity for "The Four Lovers" that balanced a playful, romantic aesthetic with the bold, athletic traditionalism of mid-century collegiate wear.
The design features personalized individual names on the front chest paired with a large-scale band logo across the back. Technical execution required precise color-matching to the specific jacket fabric and a rigorous analysis of print-on-garment constraints. The final graphics ensure both visual impact and production compatibility, maintaining the vibrant kitsch theme while meeting the durability requirements of high-energy stage performance.

The Little Mermaid
The objective of this project was to develop a unique visual identity for a featured The Little Mermaid shirt, balancing high-profile brand recognition with a distinct, original artistic style. The primary focus involved reimagining the iconic central character through a custom illustration for a large-scale back graphic, alongside a stylized title treatment for the front pocket.

Design Strategy & Execution
The execution required a careful distillation of the character's well-known attributes into a fresh, contemporary aesthetic that maintains the essence of the original iconography. This process emphasized sophisticated line work and balanced composition to ensure the design functioned effectively as both a standalone illustration and a wearable promotional asset. The final result delivers a cohesive, stylistically unique interpretation of a classic property, optimized for high-quality garment printing.

The Play That Goes Wrong
The objective of this project was to develop a cohesive suite of graphics for the stage production of The Play That Goes Wrong. The brief required the creation of a generic "theatre company" logo for the front chest of the garments, paired with six unique full-back digital illustrations representing a history of past "failed" productions.

Design Strategy & Execution
Each illustration serves as a comedic parody of a well-known theatrical classic. The design process involved researching original playbill iconography and distilling those recognizable elements into a new, humorous context. By blending high-fidelity theatrical design with subtle visual comedy, the graphics emphasize the chaotic and hysterical nature of the play’s narrative. The final deliverables provide a series of stylized, brand-aware assets that maintain the look of legitimate professional theatre while supporting the production’s comedic world-building.
