Sharay's Ghana Style Brittle
[ print / illustrator / photoshop / indesign ]
Sharay’s Ghana Style Brittle was set up in 2019 by the founder Yaw Asare. From a young age, Yaw always had an intense love of peanut brittle or, Nkati Cake, as they call it in his home country, Ghana, West Africa. His goal was to bring a taste of home to the US. Sharay’s unique Ghana-Style recipe is what differentiates it in the market and offers naturally delicious, straightforward munchies.

My objective for Sharay's projects is to convey the uniqueness of the product through its design elements. The designs should display the product to showcase its deliciousness through the product itself, or people enjoying the product. Challenges that I run into are finding ways to incorporate a West African feel into the designs, but through research into Ghana patterns and styles, qualities of this culture can be translated into modern design.
